Rosany Bochner

Bachelor’s in Statistics, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1985); MA, Production Engineering, with focus on Operations Research, Alberto Luiz Coimbra Institute of Graduate Studies and Research in Engineering (COPPE)/Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1990); PhD, Public Health, Sérgio Arouca National Public Health School, Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (2003); postdoctoral fellow in Information Science, Brazilian Institute of Science and Technology Information (IBICT) (2012). She is currently a researcher at the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation; chair, National System of Toxic-Pharmacological Information (SINITOX); and a permanent professor, Graduate Program in Health Information and Communication, Institute of Scientific and Technological Information in Health, Oswaldo Cruz Foundation. She has experience in Probability and Statistics, with emphasis on data analysis. Her main subjects of interest are: intoxications and poisonings and accidents with venomous animals. She has participated in the development of health information systems and in the production of educational and scientific dissemination materials.
